I go to my friend's place every day and his mom has a boyfriend. I have met his daughter 2 weeks ago in my friend's yard and we talked very little, only surface level. I asked the my friend's mom's boyfriend to bring his daughter the next time he comes to my friend's place. Him, my friend's mom, my friend, thr girl and I are all probably gonna be sitting together in the yard when she comes. How do I have a non-awkward conversation with her there and maybe ask her to take a walk later in the conversation so we don't have to keep talking with everyone in the yard? She is gonna be on a vacation for the next few days, that's a good topic to talk about.

I'm not sure how to go past surface level conversation, at least while 3 other people are there with us. I don't have a high level of social anxiety but I'm not super confident either.
