i need help with tretinoin cycle

i got 0.025, 0.05 and 0.1 topical. im not too sure how long to run each, does anyone have a good cycle that worked for them without there skin fucking up

there is no cycle, you use tretinoin for life.

0,25% is only if you want to be safe and prepare your skin for less peeling when you up the dosage, in my case it didn't do much but i got my skin to tolerate it almost everynight and it took me 2 months.
0,05% is where you will start to peel, i used i 3x a week for a month and still had visible peeling, but then i switched to accutane.
0,1% is only when you get your skin to be used to eod of 0,05%, after that you can use it for life or switch to tazarotene.

minimal improvements on 0,025%, it made my skin more glowy but i still had an occasional pimple, the 0,05% is where my skin started getting better but also when it started peeling a lot, so i guess it would peel even harded if i didn't prepare it with 0,025%

if you really want to ascend, just take low dose accutane since it works almost perfectly without side effects, i still had stubborn pimples and occasional breakouts on tret 6 months in.

usual dose is 60mg+ for 4-6 months depending on kg, you would take 20mg for around a year and a half but without side effects. Blood results every month if you want to be safe.

only slightly dry lips but nothing unmanageable, skin was much drier on tretinoin.

pharmacy, but i have some ties.
depending on where you live you can get it prescribed easy if you have stubborn acne and say you tried everything

np bhai, just know accutane is annoying in summer no matter the dose, i am not going on a vacation because of it. if you do start taking it (or tret) use spf 50 every day you go outside for longer than 15min

no, the face can only be more sensitive to the sun as you continue taking it and the main point of accutane is that you finish it as fast as you can while managing side effects comfortably, it's usually 4/6months with high doses but 8/12 months range is becoming common now too.
it's fine though just invest in a good SPF (La Rorche Possay/Eucerin) and you will be fine, you should be applying spf regardless if you take accutane/tretinoin anways

you could do it but it would be ideal if you hit your cumulative dose (around 8-10g in total over the months) since the results are going to be permanent and only 5% chance your acne returns (pimples and imperfections almost 0%) and that is without maintenance with taz/tret

Start with 0.025% 2–3 nights a week for 2 weeks, then every other night, then nightly if your skin’s fine.
Move to 0.05% only after you can handle 0.025 nightly for a while.
Leave 0.1% for later same process don’t really need to use it if .05% works





Use a pea-sized amount + moisturizer + SPF.
