i need non cope skincare methods

i know skincare has been talked a SHIT ton about here, but theres so much overcomplicated stuff.

here's what i do.

cleanse, moisturize 2x a day, and bb cream in the morning aswell ofcourse.

i have though about using vaseline on my skin for that glow? is that bad? my skin looks so gaunt and dead man. it needs life.

dont give me products that cost 1 million dollars

tbh, u don't need a retinoid if u dont have any acne/scars or wrinkles
i recommend just fixing ur diet and a simple, non-comedogenic face wash aswell as sunscreen
that's all you need

i acc dont use sunscreen. i live in a cold country and do go out much. should i still use?

Vaseline blocks your pores. These don't. Plus glycerin in particular pulls even more water into your face, so your face skin looks soft and plump.

so glycerin after moisturizer or only glycerin?

I only use glycerin when I'm looking dull or dry. Few minutes after using moisturizer. But really they're interchangeable.
It's just that you can't really slather the glycerin all over your body, so it's really just an addon.
Mix with water, glycerin alone is too thick and sticky.

diet is almost always the main problem
your diet influences your hormones, oil production, gut health which all contribute to acne
a mistake i see many people make, including myself, is going on accutane before fixing their diet
accutane is only a temporary solution as it stops oil production, if you still have a shitty diet after ending accutane, your acne will come back
you should fix your diet before trying anything else

yeah, however my diet was whole foods/no dairy as it makes me flare up and single ingredient foods and i still had horrible and still have acne on my jawline and forehead. I started using doxycyline and epiduo 2.5% and within the past week its cleared up. Tbh it just depends from person to person

for about 6 months my acne was less severe, but still pretty shit while on it, then i finally fixed my diet and that's when i saw real improvement.
i haven't had a single breakout even though they predicted that i might need to go on a second cycle
my friend who had similar acne to me fixed his diet without going on accutane and cleared his acne
