I need to find a career

I work in security, but have a degree. But people probably think I'm dumb and not an academic

I studied marine biology, but it's basically impossible to find a job in that field. I want to use the degree to go into some sort of field in biology, but bachelors degrees on their own are kind of useless in biology, and I cba to do post grad study, and idk what I'd do

Basically, I'm an academic who has fallen out of the game and am stuck working in security because idk how to get into anything worthwhile

Didn't you like security?

If you don't find anything in your field, you need to look for rare jobs that either need no degree or just some certs. Type of stuff people don't really think about. There you can find great work/life balance.

I don’t mind it
But I can always get back into it if I wanted
For now, I want out and to pursue something

Idk what I was thinking tbh. I think I thought I’d just do a masters and get some job that way, but didn’t really research much

Coding is way too competitive. You’re competing against millions of Indians and autists

For now, I want out and to pursue something

If you can grow you own food and do not have to pay rent, you can live with quite little. Not much is needed really. But where you live and with who you live nearby is very important.

no u dont. Just keep working and stay at parents and save and put it in an etoro.

get a gf and once u get 100k, move to a nicer place than UK like america, and work police , fireman, or security or some shit.
