I'm 17, I need my bloodwork, I have no idea how I'm meant to convince her to check my estradiol. Fuck.

Just say you want the full scope and ask to include estradiol, testosterone etc.

As far as I'm aware they're very careful about who they let check their e2

what would the reason behind this be?

Free-labour. A regular lab test almost never cover everything you need.

Yeah Italy tends to be more strict.

Honestly I have no clue. You could try some bullshit about you being in puberty and wanting all your hormones in a healthy range. Lowk garbage advice but it’s all I can think of. Especially in Europe.

I might just run test without bloods, then get it checked mid-cycle & thats about it tbh

thanks for the tag babe :p
if you have any symptom of high or low e2 just bring that up, i dont see why they would stop you from checking it.
you could go to a private clinic if you need

Not a horrible idea. Especially because you know what you’re doing so less could “go wrong” per se. I would attempt the bullshit though and if they say no then it’s whatever.

I'll try this, what do you think of me starting with no bloodwork then getting it checked mid-cycle?

Be cautious, your health baseline is the most important factor, not just for general long-term health but also for efficiency, and it can vary widely from person to person.
You need to understand how your body works, then observe how it adapts by starting with low dosages, tapering up slowly, giving your body time to adjust, and modify dynamically.
Once you find a stable and working approach, you can reduce the number of lab tests, but always remember that there are things a urine or blood test can’t capture.

you probably could honestly depending on what you're cycling
better option if you go with blood work tho

I’m from the UK so not sure how similar, but I just said I was having libido issues, ED and stubborn fat in my chest and waist area. They gave me a full hormone test including oestradiol with kidney and liver function tests

Surely you know how to larp to a doctor and this is complete troll right?

Literally ask chatgpt about a low/high e2 side effect and say you have it bro :lul:

It's more of a language issue than anything

If they're pushing back against my larp, then I can't really fight back since i'm far from fluent, I'm relying on them hearing my symptoms and just agreeing, cause if they say "no this isn't needed, we'll do ur bloods without it" then I just can't say anything in italian on the spot
