I never understood daylight savings

Half my Slack notifications have started arriving an hour late because someone in California decided to spring forward. I never knew about this. I'm from a country that maintains a consistent UTC + 5 : 30 schedule. I'm not used to this advancing clock bullshit at all.

It's so problematic when you are doing international standups. I have to Google Time in New York/San Francisco every single morning these days just to make sure I'm not accidentally ghosting my own team. It is also fucking my non existent sleep schedule too. I'm stuck on a call until 12:00 PM because the sun stayed up longer in New York

It’s the dumbest thing ever, muh more daylight in summer, doesn’t mean shit im from somewhere with severely cold winters, by making the summer day an hour longer you’re making the winter days an hour shorter well done great job

India needs different timezones. In northeast it's pitch dark by 6pm and in Delhi its only after 7:30.

But would counduct meets at 7

For a week I got bashed like a chud
