i never understood people who travel for surgery

i get it if its a heavily invasive expensive surgery, in that case it makes sense to go to a different country where it would be cheaper, or if you want to get it done by a specific top tier surgeon but ive seen people talk about how they travel to a different country to do laser treatments, filler or fat grafts
its not that serious, i honestly cant be asked to do all that to save $100

fr i’m in la and beverly hills ain’t that far from me. when i eventually get my leforte surgery im going there, not to turkey and get botched by titan
