Just speak crisp and clearly

Why do you need to add so much razzle dazzle to convey your ideas

This is specifically aimed towards philosophy books

I just can’t stand the use of unnecessary words like it’s just so stupid to me. Words are already unnatural manmade symbols that we aren’t even supposed to see in nature so why make it more confusing

It's not unnecessary, the author put the words there for a reason. You don't understand the meaning and purpose. The logos of the words are not manmade because they are abstractions tied to the world in the same way your brain interprets the world

In the past people were higher iq and could grasp the language better
We literally speak in abbreviations now in 2025 lol shows the degeneration

It is unnecessary if there are simpler words to use that far more people understand

Why would you use words that less people understand when you could use words more people understand while conveying the same idea

Maybe because most people who do the former are supercilious conceited retards who think big word = high sentience

Just explain them to people, use them in a sentence, then make a tactical pause and give the definition, it makes you look smart, while you also low-key mog them, like for example:
"I like canines...that's dogs to the laypersons..." or "That stuff is gargantuan...that means really big."
