I once had a manager who would loved yapping. Yapping about shit all the time. All I wanted was to report a quick two line bug fix during standup and get back to rot in my IDE. Instead, mentioning a simple dependency update would trigger a 30-minute speech on architectural philosophy, politics, future and the grand vision of the company and all everyone could do is just stare at the screen in dead silence listening to a nigga yap. It was not even like you check out of the conversation. He demanded replies and would comstlat ask. Did you understand? Can you tell me what you understood for this. My god.
