On steam there are some and on GOG all of them are like this
Basically means the file itself is yours, u can in theory delete steam make copies start it any time
If the game is locked behind drm or some launcher u need steam to use I’m pirating it and not supporting
I only buy games I can own independent of a server connection I won’t pirate such games cause I wanna support this system
