Legit ask your parents what they are making food will help your social skills by a margin, trust me i was like you too but then i just started talking to my parents which lead me to talk to more and more people.

i can relate to this thread a lot. ascending in looks can only do so much, but you need to talk to other people. i'm not necessarily as drastic as this since its easy for me to talk to a random person (bring up some topic) and have a full blown conversation (and get numbers as well).

problem is for me is having a full-blown friend group since people know im non-NT and I have contrarian ideas, so the assumptions don't help at all. also, when you are in the bottom in the barrel and do something to increase your value, people still remember you for being at the bottom. you get out of that stigma of being at the bottom and then come out and realize that there is more to shallow group dynamics.

its funny because we are in the same situation as i get iois as well from girls but just don't want to talk due to past experiences as well in middle school and high school.
