I don't know much about Berserk either, but I've heard about it.

I will read it and say what I think about it. I do know it has a lot of kabbalah and kjv symbolism. In regards to AOT, it is okay. I hated the anime but the manga was far better. I like the anime out of nostalgia and the soundtrack and sound design is perfect but god I cannot stand the over the top VAs, slow motions, retcons, eye zoom ins and long long pacing.

Berserk is great, best to read it. Susumu Hirasawa did a great job with the music as did Sawano Hiroyuki did with AOT.
