1,000,000 square foot mansion

100 supercars

Perfect health

10 bitches

$1,000,000,000

Just totally Chadded out lifestyle, dream face 6’8 all of it

And it still wouldn’t be enough, I would still be searching for the next thing as if that would finally make me happy, I don’t think I would be truly content, I would continue to make my own problems and make my own tragedy

It genuinely might be true that our world’s obsession with constant improvement, innovation, and advancement is a manifestation of psychological disease

Yet at the same time something so fundamental to human nature is inevitable

It reminds me of how we continue to have war after war, knowing full well how awful and destructive it is.

Deep down we don’t live for pleasure or to feel good, we want to burn for something

I’m not even sure if Buddhist-style asceticism is the answer either, because then you’re kind of living for nothing

Maybe we just have to accept that denial of this truth is the only way, living in dissonance with reason

Sure, but then what

Maybe nothing is really leading to anything in the end, maybe conclusions don’t exist, and life is simply the pursuit of an elusive unknown, ever inching out of reach

Does it ever feel as good to get something as it does to want it? All throughout my life I notice this pattern repeating. This will change everything, this will fix my life, if I just get this finally I can live a life of paradise. But that’s not how things work. We yearn for the unattainable infinite, something that we can never have, because we can never have it.

Oh boy :bigbrain: :smonk: :smonk:

Human desire is infinite and unquenchable

The “solution” is FDVR

I truly believe that this is the end game for humanity. The robots and AI will decide what to do with the physical universe

Life as it is now will feel like a pathetic joke in comparison, IF we can get there :Prayge:
