Its so annoying and condescending how westerners always try to push this narrative that they are "colonizers" and they made everyone feel ashamed for being "brown."

What western whites really want is to feel superior. This is why they always say westerners should be "brown" and proud and constantly make idiotic claims like asian plastic surgery is about looking "white." This is why hollywood loves casting obscure soutern minorities to play non western white characters. The reality is that most ethnic countries actually aren't culturally backward and people look and act pretty normal. It really pisses me off how westerners are trying to turn pale skin into the mark of something disgraceful when in reality its been a traditional part of beauty in euro- asian cultures for centuries.
