Forget about parties and all that non-sense when you are a teen. Making 6 figures out of high school is the real chad life.

I could have coupled high school with trades too. But I was brainwashed into pursuing a higher education and didn't think about any other alternative. Now I'm stuck in a point where I feel behind to everybody and everything feels too late to try.

Don’t you need a chemical engineering degree to work on an oil rig ?

Think about it. In 5-10 you could become a millionaire. Easy high-adventure work with plenty of free time.

Those are the engineers. You don't need barely anything, over 18, some medical and fitness stuff and some other certificates.

Too much pussy makes you docile and submissive. 4 week on 4 weeks off or whatever it is, it's the ideal lifestyle.

College is more harsh than those jobs imo. 4 whole years of learning nothing and studying stuff you are not interested in to not even know if it will be worthy. You don't earn any money and don't do much else besides partying, gaming or attending classes. If you're fine with that then alright, but I could not.

I won't use college for learning brah, it's for the connections, and having some structure in life.

You should contemplate it, 3 years in Norway to buy yourself a small cabin in the french guiana and be financially free for the rest of your life.

None because I realized it's a scam. You have a degree that you used for? Right, nothing. You could have spent these 4 years in Norway or Australia and be set for life.

3 years of gruelling blood, sweat and tears
And bad for karma
My values come first
Also I can do that with a couple of years in the police. I plan on working around 10 hours a week after anyway

I couldn't have moved to either as a UK citizen
And would have to pay rent and all

That's the reason I'm interested. My lower back acts up too much if I'm stationary or sitting. Perhaps due to the fact my pelvis is tilted laterally, so my bones and muscles aren't even each side when sitting especially

When I was 14 I was fully blackpilled, redpilled and had watched hundreds of hours of self-improvement guru stuff. I could have done so much differently.

I let the wind guide me, without me having any purpose. Went to uni without questioning and was there stagnated.

What could I have done different, I might do a thread about that. But taking into account the environment I was in and other factors, I'm not doing bad.

Fast forward to 10 years later...

Case 1 (you went to the oilrigs) : Thank goodness I listened to Debetro, and now I'm young, rich, and set for life

Case 2 (you went to college) : humpback, if in 2025 I had listened to Debetro, instead of going to college, I would be rich now. Damn I've ruined my life.

Things that will never happen.

Degrees are oversaturated you fool. There's not enough employment for people with the piece of paper you plan to get, let alone employment that pays well.

And if that was not enough AI is going to takeover.

We've got extreme amounts of cope at play here.

Not all degrees are oversaturated it's only CS, I'll be getting a business degree hopefully at an ivy or just a good uni so I don't have to worry about it. And ai won't replace shit, you've misunderstood what it does.

You’re 100% wrong and retarded.

College mogs, people get degrees for the explicit purpose of avoiding working those back breaking labor tradie jobs.

Those oil rig slave niggas here in Canada work 80 hours a week and brag about “muh 100k salary” but they don’t mention how much they are forced to work and slave away.

80 hours a week, but 2 weeks on and 3 weeks off usually.

A piece of paper for a soulless office job where you esentially rot away. Not to mention how mentally taxing studying is. All that to end up earning a mediocre wage.

AI is going to nuke all your fancy office jobs soon. What are you going to do then :feelskek:

Nigga you can get a 1 year degree from community college and get a government job and make 70k a year.

I’m going to go to get an 1 year accounting diploma and work for the Canadian government, I’ll make 70-80k within a few years.

I would not take it as granted. But I will be happy for you if you achieve that. I will stay with my 500k a year on oilrig though. Love the smell of sea.

Where tf can you make 500k on an oil right? :lul: This is fantasy money, they’d sooner hire some ethnic immigrant to work minimum wage than pay someone 500k.

This job or one on a remote mine site is perfect for an incel who has no chance of getting bitches. If you're good looking you'd be wasting your prime years at this job. If you're incel you may as well just do this because it pays well.

>The salary for a machine operator in the Australian mining industry varies, but generally falls between $90,000 and $160,000 per year. Averaging around $97,485 annually, or $47 per hour. However, specific roles like FIFO (Fly-in Fly-out) operators can earn upwards of $114,501 per year, with some positions reaching $160,000

Even if you're good looking. 5 years doing this won't hurt if your goal is earning money. You still have vacations and time off, tou're not wasting away your prime.
