The vaccine is to prevent the illness to get worst. It works. I took it because i saw people getting covid and ending up in the hospital or with long term damage (like lung capacity reduced)

I decided to take the vaccine after one of my best friends got covid, felt like utter shit, recovered and said that he has no energy to do anything and gained 20 kg. Plus my friends parents got it and both ended up in intensive care, my friends luckily didn't catch it cause they didnt live with them.
