I was put this morning shopping for food in the supermarket and I saw this high-end HTN guy in the checkout queue who looked strikingly similar to me, except that his skin had redder undertones compared to my golden olive.

He asked me straight up if I were a Muslim and where I came from, in which I replied I was a Muslim but I'm half white, and my dad is Lebanese (with split Syrian and Saudi Bedouin ancestry). He revealed that he was an Afghan and knew instantly I was a Muslim just by my face alone.

I made a new friend today!
