I could've misread the situation too, but it sounded like she was saying "retardo" or something like that. That's the bitchy and passive aggressive way of doing it, isn't it! I think I'll leave that for the hoes. The direct approach feels much more liberating, and besides, I had someplace to go, so it wasn't really worth wasting time on.

This situation reminded me of a funny ad with a guy who thinks a girl is talking with him, but she's actually on her phone and seems annoyed when he replies to her. It would have been an appropriate revenge for the guy to give the girl a taste of her own medicine, by shouting some profanity, then ignoring her and pretend to be simply speaking on his phone with someone else.
