Lots of planning going on no execution or follow through.

a surgery plan is merely a coping mechanism, as one is allowed to maintain the pretense that he will be alleviated from his condition at some indefinite point in the future. He meticulously plans ever mm of movement, spends countless hours rummaging through obscure research papers and Internet forums, imagines how the world will treat him after his procedures, but deep down he knows in his heart that he doesn’t have the gal or determination to spend tens of thousands of dollars to let a second-rate surgeon hack off and fix his splanchocranium. It will always be next year, or the year after, when he finds a job, or maybe insurance will cover it, or maybe his parents will spend their savings, or maybe...or maybe. It’s all cope.
