I regret focusing so much on my looks in the past.

For example taking steroids - wtf is the point when almost every girl is dating a bloated guy

The point is that these people are alone, isolated, they have mental problems, lack confidence, are too anti-social, don't know how to express themselves well enough, are narcissistic, have bad attachment styles, ADHD, autism, have simply too low an IQ, etc.

And they also don't have big, extended families to spend time with, don't have big circles of friends to spend time with (and through whom they could easily find a girlfriend), and generally don't have shit going on in their lives in general, and because of that they feel the need to compensate somehow / they think they are incomplete, and they think that if they reach a certain point x related to looks or whatever, performance at the gym, status, money, career, car, house, etc. they will only be able to get a girlfriend, because they believe that at the point in life they are, they don't deserve a girlfriend / they will be rejected by any girl

The thing is, before looksmaxing, there were other popular things on the internet for these men, mainly the manosphere. First it was how to approach on the street, then it was muscles and the gym, then it was that you just need money and status, and now we have looksmax and blackpill in general

However, the reality is completely different..

Girls will like you (not all of them, and not everywhere) regardless of your context and circumstance, as long as you meet their minimum requirements to become their partner, obviously..

So yeah, any form of looksmaxing is useless, because if a girl is going to like you, she'll like you in any version

Trying to looksmaxing generally just means changing your partner demographics, meaning when you looksmaxing you don't increase your real, objective chances, but instead of girl x, who would have liked you before looksmaxing, she'll make you girl y, but the problem is that there's a big chance that after looksmaxing girl x won't like you anymore, so I repeat, you don't increase your chances linearly, like a status in a game, you just shift the demographics

Tbh I was mentally ill aswell - i grow up with a mom who threatened to throw me out many times so i would become homeless and she could get sudden anger outbursts. I think that experience really got stuck in me, i think thats why I discovered looksmax

Now i got a good job and started dating girls, and really trying to get well

What most women can or can’t have as far as LTR isn’t about looks, it’s about who’s in her circles and who she has social access to, that could be much worse looking guys.
