I seem to find it hard to take a lot of people at my school seriously.

apart from me nobody knows anything about physics, economics, politics, philosophy, religion, psychology and general knowledge and many other topics.

I am yet to find a person who I can really speak to about these topics without them changing the subject or losing focus as they don't understand it. Its really hard going through school with nobody who understands me.

I am better at maths in exams than most people and get better grades, yet still people say "why are you so bad at maths" as I am usually zoned out thinking when I am asked a question so I panic. I literally get better grades than them yet they think they are so smart.

Today I was saying that humanity could not survive if there was one race and we are interdependent yet most people disagreed. They also came in with stupid views like comparing "reform uk and labour supporters difference in views" to a western person and a mongolian rice farmers views. Truly I find it hard to cope.

Honestly I used to not even like school until I got into physics. I guess before I was supressing my potential for the best grades as I was preferring to socialise and mess around with all the normies.

can anyone relate to this at school and how likely am I to find people I can actually converse with on a deeper level at university?

Not only will you find people to converse with on a deeper level at university there will be people smarter than you on every single topic you can think of so it’s great if you want to learn
