I am 27 and have kept my tinder age setting to 22 for the last 5 years
When I was 22-23 I was getting some tinder treatment that suggested I was in the upper range of males on there and despite loads of flakes and frustration I had enough success to see it as a net benefit
My results started to fizzle out in 2019 then from 2020 it just switched to impossible mode
I kept my pics the same throughout this time, and there was a constant stream of new foids joining the app to match with but I got nowhere with them
Since I set my age to 27, I am now matching with foids who's standards for looks are 5-7 years behind the new generation
Also they may have been humbled a bit as they've gotten older
I've said before that my pheno is becoming out of date as zoomers are more dogmaxxed than millenials
Millenial foids are used to less dogmaxxed phenos
Also I expect plenty of the males who are my competition in my age range to have descended in looks due to work stress, balding, fat gain and male gaze maxxing with beard
I look more or less the same in my recent pics as the pics I used aged 22 (altho the difference in my skin would be notable in person since I noticed the changes in the mirror)
So since I am lean and remain clean shaven I hope to appeal to the female gaze of 27 year old foids, despite not having the look/pheno/style to appeal to the female gaze of 20 year old foids
Also older foids have lower quality, lower effort pics so I expect them to be more forgiving of my low effort pics than zoomer aged foids
Zoomers are way more social media savvy so there is an expectation amongst them to have higher quality pics which failoed me
In terms of treatment I'm receiving, the title was clickbait but some foid messaged me with a sexual opener and another one exchanged like 50 messages with me last night, all high effort
Another foid with a super polished profile with influencer look just messaged me which would never happen when I ae fraud but she is too slim and polished looking to ever stimulate sexual desire for me
