I generally work weekends and whenever I see I have 2-3 shifts in my weekend, it makes me want to kill myself
but somehow in the end it ends up as 'okay' and I dont end up kiling myself

i have no car, never buy clothes, never date, live in a shitty-ass student-dorm, never go anywhere, never go to restaurants, dont have any hobbies except staring at my computer-screen. It's a cheap lifestyle

No, has nothing to do with my college degree although it 'sealed the deal' so to speak.

The job I have requires reasonable quick-math skills + needing to look 'representable'. You need to be able to do quick calculations and be comfortable doing them under pressure, not make mistakes. And you needed to look representable meaning you needed to look 'clean', no piercings/tattoos visible, etc. The representable looking part isn't that strict honestly, it just deselects people who come to the job-interview wearing a simple t-shirt etc, deselects people with purple hair etc.

They had a math-test on my job-interview. I was taken to a separate room and had 5 minutes to answer a full-page of math-calculations.
Nothing too difficult but still cumbersome. Just shit like 1.7 x 1400 = ?? for example would be a very typical question. But most of them were easier than this. And a page of questions like this, like ~30 in 10 minutes.
I have no degree except for my high-school degree, but I told them I study physics on a university-level so there were like: 'okay yeah ur perfect for the job, ur exactly the type of person we look for, physics nerd.'

At the end of the job-interview they already told me: yeah ur hired, dont worry, just need to sign the contract next week its already arranged.

In the end this meant I undersold myself, I could've demanded more pay n shit, but I was a rookie. But for real I came to realize later on that other employees at this same company had better pay than me, better contracts than me, despite doing the same work as me. They negotiated better terms than me.
But it's fine honestly. I was fine with my pay at the time, now I realize I was and am underpaid, and I will negotiate better pay in the future.

My contract is ending this summer and I am gonna go for a 10% raise initially, hoping to get at least 5% out of it in the end. If they reject a 5% instant raise I am quitting as I don't really need this job and this affects my ego too much.

Right now it doesn't, I am still feeling amazing physically (but completely done for mentally). But how long can it last?!

My mental health is literally ZERO man. I feel so much anxiety every single day, constant stress, pain, fear, loneliness, sadness. I hate my life.
Luckily my physical health is still really strong. My body is still so strong, right now. I have no pain, I can do anything I want, my body is healthy and fit. I have zero real physical health problems. I could climb the Mount-Everest next year after training for it if I wanted to. I am sure my body will manage it is an unstoppable machine.

But yeah, life is fucking shit man. I need to turn this shit around. You too, i hope the same your too bhai.
