The game allows you to PK literally anyone who is outside the town and there is zero penalty for being PK

When you die, you have two free resurrections per day, every resurrection after those costs money and people are crying when they have to spend money to resurrect because I kill them every 5 minutes or so xD

Well Lineage 2 is different because if you don't spend a dime you do like 100 damage to other players who spend more than you and they one shot you basically and then you're crying because you don't have money to resurrect without losing EXP because you can't afford to buy coins in the game to resurrect without EXP loss.

When I was a teenager, I spent 4.5k$ on a real shitty flash game to be the first in the leaderboard and so people would praise me for being the best (I was 3rd which meant there were two people even dumber than me). There was a payment option that was using a premium-rate telephone number, so I would infiltrate my grandfather's business (next door to his house with a front door connected to his house) and make hundreds of phone calls to retrieve a code that gave me credit in the game. He was owning only 30% of his business and he was considering retiring.

I did that for 3 years or so. I'd go to the office with a sheet of paper on which I wrote down the codes that I retrieved in 2 minutes each. I could spend hours just dialing the numbers, and sometimes I used three phones at the same time to get codes faster. I think I got caught one day as my grandpa surprised me in his office on a Sunday. But I think he knew I already got something like 4k$ using that technique and I think he was scared it'd bring a huge drama in the family. He didn't say a thing, but I saw something in his eyes, like a shock, I'm 100% sure he knew what was going on.

6 months later, they moved the offices to another part of the city. My grandfather could no longer pay the electricity costs when they left and had to sell the house and offices + his shares.

Today I have no idea if I was responsible for this departure or not. It really screwed things up, but in retrospect, I should have done the same thing to pay for surgery or anything worth 4k, instead of embezzling money for pixels on a video game that disappeared in 2014
