Then get your ass in the warehouse too
This job is "security" but basically a warehouse handling packages coming in and out

Soon boyo.
I need to get out of this field
An academic by nature, I've ended up here through laziness and misjudgement. I thought getting into security would be a cheatcode for an easy job, but it still sucks. Even the "comfy" security jobs aren't good cos they hurt your back and you're not using your brain or surrounded by nature

I'm academic by nature too. I study by myself. No problem in that. Being a dedicated *academic job* in 2025 is dead. Things are not as they were before, I wish I could have been a medieval alchemist. But now everything is different.

The only solution is a park ranger or something
Wish I lived in US. Plenty of opportunities for that there

why do this to yourself
1. Save up while living with parents, to buy a tiny house
2. I have nothing else. In my current position (0 hours) they're not giving any shifts until September, and I have none
3. It's only temporary. I wanna look for something else. Either part time straight away, or full time for a few months to a year and then when I get my EU citizenship I can buy a cheap house somewhere and work part time

what is it about a tiny house for yourself that you like so much and how would it improve your life?

Cheaper than rent long term, and means you have less expenses. I have like over £50k rn
Get the purchase out the way, and then your housing is covered. Work less

I want to live somewhere quiet away from others (but not too remote that I can't get to shops/work etc)

Everyone is a loner in my student-dorm (i live with 6 incels).
In the weekends they all go back to their parents place so I have the whole place for myself.

I walk around naked in the halls, play music on full volume, nobody gives a fuck.

it's a bit messy tbh, women wouldn't approve of this type of living situation. i have 99 problems but a bitch aint one though
