I started getting awkward

I used to be able to approach girls, after i started caring more about my appearance i don’t know i just don’t feel like i can anymore. i’m obviously looking better ive been told before it just doesn’t feel the same. I just feel like a sub, and i feel lik i get awkward because im too self absorbed. its like i get bored when a girl is talking to me and im not getting in her pants quick enough to my wanting. has anyone else felt this.
