I remember not being able to write numbers till 25 without seeing. So many spelling mistakes. I even recall grinning when I wrote sechs and said it aloud in class just to make it sound funny. You can see the frustration in the way I crossed things out. If you'd tell past Jason that he would be speaking to germans in their language in a year he wouldn't believe it. I wanted to give up so many times but there's nothing an iron will cant conquer

Its not that hard

A lot of words are cognates
I mean just for languages in general, I'm trying to learn Arabic and other middle eastern languages

German Grammar is hard tho
Once you memorise the verb tables and stuff it gets easier

A lot of stuff starts linking together

I only studied it for gcse tho

Learn fundemental vocab and grammar rules

Personally my school began teaching us french german latin really early on and they begun step by step

Thats what you have to do

How did you learn?
BTW a lot of german content these days has foreign words from Turkish and Arabic you need to learn to filter them out. Since you are muslim you probably already know arabic so it is easier for you @Beastimmung @deadstock

german isnt really hard to learn as long as you speak at least on european language, the sentence structure is very similar i can see how it would be difficult for an english speak to learn german
