The other day I was really thirsty but I didn’t have any money to get a sugary beverage. After some contemplation I decided that I would gypsymaxx and steal my dads credit card.

When he wasn’t looking I took it and I went to my local deli and got 2 bottles of brisk ice tea. ($4.00) when I got home I put the card where it had been prior to me taking it. I thought I was in the clear at that point.

Just about an hour ago (3 days after I stole his card) my dad got a phone call from his credit card company about “irregular activity” which included the ice tea.

Immediately he calls me over and asks me a serious of questions “did you steal my credit card”? “Did you ever get ice tea at that deli”? I denied all of this of course but he 100% knows I did it.

I’m hiding in the bathroom rn, what should I do? It’s over for me ngl

Don't worry about it. I did the same thing as a kid run up a bill for 780 quid. Another time I ran up a bar bill for nearly 500 and the restaurant wouldn't let me leave until my dad paid by card over the phone. A couple of soft drinks isn't going to kill him.

Just say you'll reimburse him. If you deny it he'll cancel the card thinking someone's written his numbers down. He knows it's you obviously.

780?????? Holy shit. That must have been humiliating. The funny thing is I spent about 50 with his card but only the $4 purchase came up as irregular. He doesn’t care that much that I stole $4, he’s more worried about WHY I did it

was Mirin low inhibition till it seems your actively worried which shows high inhibition. If your low inhibition you wouldn't be hiding in the bathroom but deny and move on , or brag to his face you used the card ( the risk is you lose acess to the card though ), so best to not give a fuck going forward and use it again til he changes his card and you can't acess it.

blame him for it
say he probably did it when he was drunk and he needs to stop drinking because it is negatively affecting his memory and your life.

Yeah why did you do it? Just ask him for money. Proof you're Jewish and would throw your family under the bus/lie to your jew dad for a few pennies.

Just tell him you got that merchant DNA from him

he was always poor/ working class. Until he met my psychiatrist mom 25 years ago. He’s really old (75, I’m only 17) so he’s retired now. His only source of income is social security now jfl
