They claim that the punished servant is Israel not a/messiah figure, yet it directly states that the servant is innocent and wounded for their transgressions and that Israel is guilty. How can Israel be innocent and guilty at the same time and then punished on Israel’s behalf which is itself? Makes no sense.

It just seems like mental gymnastics, even Maimonides believed Isa 53 was about the messiah.
