None of my “friends” ever text me (from hs and middle school)
Never once in college (well, first semester only one did but she ghosted me new years)
They don’t know
I spend all my days alone
Even senior year of high school not until the last three months no one texted or called to check up (except for that one female friend)
Same with the previous summer
Ever since late ‘22, I’ve just been straight up alone

Ever since late ‘21 I’ve been straight up depressed

This site didn’t make me depressed my life already was
I just found a lot of brutal truths here

For the past 4 years I have been on my own, occasionally a few sporadic outings with someone I know, there was a period when I did not set foot outside the house for recreational purposes that lasted two years. The very few times someone has written to me ( I have no social and my WhatsApp is the Sahara Desert) it will have been because of some positive overhang from the past. I'm trying to change something and be more socially active but the effort I have to make is almost total. And that has often been the case.
I don't think those I know know, I can still count on a fair amount of halo effect.
