I talked a 30% of my BP pov to my older brother and he wanted to cry

He is more handsome than me, more succesful than me and i admire him, but when i told him about the my point of view of the society and how looks matter and how good looks give you better treats in society, how looks determine your place in society and he got super dissapointed and angry and told me that please tell him that i was joking. and i had to deny a bit of it and put it on a more soft way, just saying that i wish i could have reached my potential at a younger age, etc , etc ,etc

am i the one that is wrong? maybe the whole point is to be aware of the bp but not to base your life on it or dwell on it constantly, he is doing way better than me in life currently, he is focused on God and his stuff, and me too but maybe i should forget about the bp

ive got from HMTN to HTN , i dont consider myself ugly and i constantly get compliments
