I tell the difference between 16 year olds and 20 year olds mostly by the way they move.

My being old, it is more difficult for me to distinguish between a 16/17 year old and 19/20 year old that is standing still or whose image is captured in a photo. But if I see them walk and move I can usually figure out how old they are. Most 16/17 year olds have certain dorky walk that most 19/20 year olds do not have.

good observation, as a male of advanced age myself, i too often rely on such cues to differentiate legal wymxn from illegal ones.
