I thank God for my suffering

I would never have grown into what I am today without the flames of despair. I carried my body to the mountain, and with it my past. There is no easy path to becoming something more than flesh. Few will be chosen to carry their burden, but the rewards beyond this world. I pray to savor the infliction of every lash and scar on my back, for there is no other way.

Every man is a battle between the water of holiness and fire of worldliness. I could’ve taken everything as it seemed and ended my suffering; the world has encouraged me to do so at every turn and every misfortune. Only the Holy Spirit told me what true meaning is.
