i think a lot of “bad eye area” is actually just bad midface proportions

i've noticed a lot of dudes get called shit like negative canthal tilt / bad under eyes when the actual problem seems to be everything around the eyes

if the midface is long or the cheek area is weak, the eyes can look way worse even if the actual eye shape isn't that bad

meanwhile u can have slightly worse eye metrics but good surrounding structure and somehow look completely fine

obviously actual eye shape matters too, but i think people are attributing the failo to the wrong feature way too often

Actual eye failos:

• NCT
• Lower lid retraction
• Bad height to width ratio
• Non-light colours
• Proptosis (bug eyes)

Other stuff is usually attributable to the surrounding structure.

but half the time the person jus has fat ass bug eyes
