A lot of people have kids just so that they have kids. That, or they do it to strengthen their relationship.
Very few peope have kids because they found the right person. What I mean by that, is that you find a partner that out of all the other people you see, you feel like this person will give you the best offspring.
A lot of people don't get to do this. Most of them settle and just have kids for sake of doing so or to strenghten their relationship.
As humans, we have an inherent tendancy over eugenics. There are some people we fuck and some people that we would like to have kids with because we kmow that these people are worthy candidates. The problem is that we often don't have the privilege of getting with these people.
