Women having mate choice kills productivity in men. Arab, Indian and Asian men are known to be career focused because they are entitled to a wife as long as they have their shit together. (Or atleast thats how it used to be)

Meanwhile western men (this includes the Caribbean and some South American countries) are all less career driven because they have to waste time doing all types of shit to appeal to women.
