I think I stopped growing at 13

I’m 5’9 and about to turn 16 years old. I haven’t grown an inch since I was 13.5. I’m getting my growth plates x rayed soon but at this point I’m just trying confirm what I already know. I really have no idea how this happened. My mom is 5’8 and my dad is 6’1 so I was predicted to be over 6ft tall at least. I wasn’t an early bloomer at all; If anything I was kind of a late bloomer. My dad and my brother both grew after 13.

The only thing I can think as to why this happened is that I was a little fat as a kid so maybe I just had a lot of estrogen. I lost a lot of weight before puberty though so that still doesn’t really make sense to me.

Is anyone else here in a similar situation? Did any one get a crazy growth spurt after not growing for years because that would be hopefuel lol.

unless ur fucking disabled you cant "stop growing" when puberty has JUST started unless you did heavy fucking drugs to trigger puberty early and end early

most people i know that have stopped growing in a early age was because they started gooning too early in life, like 7-8 years, and ig it kinda ended up accelerating their puberty. I have 2 friends in this situation and i remember they had a full beard in 8th grade

just a correlation i observated tho, might not be true
