She never loved me, maybe the moments when he was gone. I’ve seen the patterns, I’ve just never internalized them as much until now. Most girls I’ve encountered kept me around so to speak. It was always someone else lingering in their main interest. Whenever they needed a break, when things weren’t working as expected, they always came onto me.
