I think I’m going into a completely useless degree in college - help

Basically I was forced to go into some sort of education by my parents and my grades were terrible so I had to go to college. The program I’m taking is a university transfer course, even then I think it’s useless af. I don’t wanna dox myself and give the program name but it’s especially like psychology, anthropology sociology philosophy, u get the idea. I feel like I’m gonna be wasting my parents money but I really had not much of any other option. With all the options there are to make money online, I don’t even know where to start.


If anybody is in a similar boat or has been, what did you do? How did u escape or plan on escaping?

what are you gonna do? I recommend self studying stuff on the side with that degree and making connections. Then getting a job similiar to that. A degree in anthropology/sociology is somewhat okay

Good for journalism, good basis to show critical thinking/argumentation skills (good for any important jobs involving analysing data or information or essay writing), will give you a good grasp on the planet, etc. Your degree's transferrable skills are as important as the specific field-related skills.

journalism is actually a good degree plus internships. If I was you @Gamerspyy786 I'd put all my effort into finding interships related to your field even business ones
