An app just allows the devs to collect your location data and hardware id easier. You’d essentially be giving the feds a target pool of loners that they can pick from. Also foreign intelligence since they are fishing in the same demographic for people who would commit sabotage. Russia has been targeting people through telegram groups to attack strategic assets.
