I think Phenibut n Kratom could be somewhat of a "gateway drug" to real narcotics
Whenever I get a feel of high dose Phenibut I start thinking about n craving the real GABA drugs like Lyrica n Clonazepam
Same with Kratom. After feeling the opioid like effects of high dose Kratom for a while then I start daydreaming about actual real opiates.
I definitely believe if you are willing to start a Phenibut n Kratom habit then eventually you will be willing to start with the real stuff aswell (benzos n opiates)
