We were on a bus trip to a protest somewhere. I was sitting next to her and noticed she had flats on with no socks, and I imagined her feet would smell wonderful (by which I mean stinky, but that's my whole thing with women's feet).

I don't know where I got up the nerve to start talking to her about her feet. In high school I had been so shy I couldn't say more than 2 words to any of the girls I had intense crushes on. I guess because the freedom of college is liberating, and she was only a casual acquaintance so there wasn't any intense emotions?

Anyway, I "casually" mentioned that I noticed she wore her flats without any socks, and that must make her feet smelly. She was like, I don't know, lol, I haven't tried smelling them.

"Oh, well, I BET you they're stinky! Here, let me see!"

She's like, sure whatever lol, and takes one of her shoes off and puts her foot up on her lap facing me.

I couldn't believe this was happening. I felt like a PERV but I also knew this was a dream come true. So I smelled, and of course it was better than I could have imagined. I said something like, "they're ok I guess" (wtf) and that was that.
