I understand why people do hard drugs

Its not just about the high but when the withdrawals hit you your body will go throught tremendous stress and you will start detaching from yourself so you dont feel your body as much and dont get as much stress, this will make you careless and just think about getting high, thats why addicts can go days without eating and stop caring about themselves, all the problems and worries you had are gone and you still have a glimpse of that voice and toughts but dont really acknowledge them

yes you only want the drug because you know its going to make the horror stop and the horror gets worse and worse because eventually its not just physical pain and is also the emotional and mental pain from remembering oh yea my life is complete shit my wife left me my parents hate me i have shit credit etc etc etc on and on and going to rehab doesnt help because these problems are going to take years to fix if they ever fix at all
