I used to have the curry death stare. Like I would just lock onto random people that looked different and stare at them right in the face. It made people uncomfortable but no one was low inhib enough to tell me anything about it. I only stopped doing it when my friends told me not to do it.

I genuinely didnt know it was considered bad. Like why wouldn't I stare at a hairy man dressed in skimpy jockstraps and harnesses. I thought he was probably looking for attention and wanted people to stare but apparently it's considered rude so I stopped doing that.

Another one of those habits that I had was asking people "invasive" question and passing comments that could be considered rude. Like me asking my male co worker if he was married and where he lived made him uncomfortable. When he told he wasn't I told him he should look for a bride soon otherwise you'll soon be an old miserable loser. He didn't say anything but people that overheard the conversation told me bro that's rude asf. I was puzzled because I was just honest. The man is almost 40 what do you expect me to say? Just lie to his face and tell me it's ok? and they told me yes you are supposed to have a social filter and not give you raw unfettered opinions and not demean others to make them feel like a loser even if they are. It seems like they'd rather hear pleasant lies than unpleasant truths and like to be beating around the bush about literally everything.
