I loved playing with myself, i'd basically do it all the time, it was my favorite activity as a kid.

I'd genuinely just sit in my room, no phone, no computer, no toys, and just play with myself through pure imagination.

I would close my eyes and just start doing it, with intense scenarios and using my mouth to make sounds relevant to them, and my mind would create music symphonies relevant to the situation. My mom would sometimes walk in on me but brush it off as simple playing - but it was much more than that.

Just imagine, crazy superhero battles with superpowers, extremely well choreographed fights, doing a 1v50 with a time stop ability, and it's all in your head.

My imagination and creativity was always amazing. I could create worlds that genuinely felt movie-like in my bedroom and play it out as if i was the main character. Instead of going outside and playing with friends (i still did that, but less than your average kid) - i'd stay in my room and play with MYSELF and my mind.

I'd much prefer imagination over toys, because toys were set in logic and limited, while in my mind i could do everything.

I believe this strong visualisation might be linked to neurodivergence, but i'm not sure.

Yoooo , I thought that I'm autistic being like that or something.

But wow , there are other people who do it too.

I used to play with myself, and imagine scenarios like being an assassin in an old country , and I would stay imagining every single details. All that without moving from my bed.
Mom would say that I'm so calm and shi , but what was going on my brain is absolute action lore.
I would stay imagining these scenarios with details like how I kill bad people and somehow learn to use weapons and see the king in his room while planning how to execute him
And I still have this strong imagination/visualization at my current age lol.

And yeah , as you said
This is linked to neurodivergence
