Idk what went through me during my teenage years.

My nigger phase: during 13/14 I went through this thug life phase in my life. Listening to Tupac, Nas and The Game like as if it made me cool. I even used to sit out in the sun during the summer hoping I would turn blacker. I proudly once said to my Somali friend "I'm becoming blacker alhamdulillah" he looked at me and awkwardly smiled - little did I know was just looking more like a curry pajeet.

My gook phase: From 16-17. Because obsessed with anything Japanese/ Korean related. Started watching anime, listening to Kpop (before it was cool), playing JRPGs. I already had the light brown/yellowy skin but I knew I needed to yellowmax more. Instead I would just permasquint. I'd even hold my brows up with my index finger when I would sit to give my eyes a slant as a resting position. My opthamaologist told me that probably gave me kerataconus - where rubbing / playing with eyes changes corneal shape and fucks up vision.

Holy shit I was so retarded. If I grew up in this generation I probably would have realised how pathetic I was.
