When I went to acting classes, the teacher - an old, loud and extravagant man, screamed at us at the start of our first lesson:
"Welcome to acting! We are all whores here and I am the biggest one of them! Let's throw away our inhibitions and talk about how stuff really is!".
Then he started to tell us all sorts of stories and anecdotes about the depravity and debauchery of the acting world, with all sorts of pornographic details - tales about parties, orgies, promiscuity, etc., so he made it pretty clear to the girls that to succeed they will have to suck and fuck their way to the top, and this was necessary even to enter a prestigious acting university or to get a job at a small local theater.
Around half of the girls who were there never came back for a second lesson. The guys came back, all of them(probably because the teacher didn't mention any gay stuff).
