For that matter, the Whitest states (Vermont, Maine, Minnesota, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, etc) tend to be the most liberal.

On the other hand, in states with the highest minority populations, the White residents tend to be highly right wing (Mississippi, Alabama, South Carolina, Texas, etc)
