Not that insane.@imontheloose @Magnus Ironblood @SecularIslamist
Top tier engineering college in India. Top tier management uni in India and the Top buisness school in Europe with experience working in Top positions at various British and American MNCs isnt impressive? Not that insane.
Impressive if you value Indian schools, sure, but not insane. Point still stands.Top tier engineering college in India. Top tier management university in India and the Top buisness school in Europe with experience working at Top positions in various British and American MNCs isnt impressive?
Nigga these indian schools have the acceptance rate of like 0 point 3-4 0s something %Impressive if you value Indian schools, sure, but not insane. Point still stands.
Acceptance rates in a third world shithole mean nothing. The people applying could have literal down syndrome for all we know.Nigga these indian schools have the acceptance rate of like 0 point 3-4 0s something %
True but it is still impressive to me because I know how hard it is to get in.Acceptance rates in a third world shithole means nothing. The people applying could have literal down syndrome for all we know.
For an Indian, itβs very impressive. Remarkable even. As an Englishman, however, Iβm not very impressed.True but it is still impressive to me because I know how hard it is to get in.
London Buisness School isnt hard to get into for an EnglishmanFor an Indian, itβs very impressive. Remarkable even. As an Englishman, however, Iβm not very impressed.
Precisely. Londonvillie has a much more impressive education than that guy for example and heβs just a 9β cock gook Britcel.London Buisness School isnt hard to get into for an Englishman
Just dox yourself theory
Really? I thought London Business School, UCL, Imperial are extremely hard to get into even for a native BritcelPrecisely. Londonvillie has a much more impressive education than that guy for example and heβs just a 9β cock gook Britcel.
Imagine doing an MBA AFTER iim ahmedabad. Crazy stuff man.
London Business School isnβt that insane here. I, and Iβd say, most fellow Britcels, view UCL as a bullshit university where failed Oxbridge students are forced to go. Imperial is a more glorified version of the latter, but I at least give Imperial its credits of being a great university.Really? I see. Idk I mostly see imperial and ucl in positive light because Imperial and UCL both have a long history tied to British colonial institutions and most Indians associate them with prestige-especially since many Indian elites from the pre-independence era studied there and returned with influential positions in politics law and administration.London Business School isnβt that insane here. They actually reduce the grades for international students at Imperial rather shockingly. Itβs why it is totally full of Indians.
Well, donβt get it twisted: the two are still viewed in positive light. Youβre just acknowledged as an Oxbridge reject. Not that itβs exactly a bad thing; you havenβt failed on 2+2=4 so to say, but to a company hiring/shortlisting those especially from Oxbridge, it is a big connotation they see.I see. I will one up him and have oxbridge on my resume then.Well, donβt get it twisted: the two are still viewed in positive light. Youβre just acknowledged as an Oxbridge reject. Nice. Come enjoy some of the kebab vans around Oxford.I will one up him and have oxbridge on my resume then.
India tho
My main issue with these top MBA programs is that the tuition costs as much as a Range Rover, and they expect you to have like 2 decades of experience just to even look at your application.Nice. Come enjoy some of the kebab vans around Oxford.
True. I lived with a few international flatmates and they all came from wealthy backgrounds. My main issue with these top MBA programs is that the tuition costs as much as a Range Rover, and they expect you to have like 2 decades of experience just to even look at your application.
You got it the wrong way round. Itβs now easier for international students to get in. These unis often lower grade requirements for them because they bring in way more money. There was a big scandal about this.Really? I thought London Business School, UCL, Imperial are extremely hard to get into even for a native Britcel
I know some very elite boutiques and Mayfair Hedge funds ( the best of the best in finance), top Barrister Champers ect only almost still look at Oxbridge.Well, donβt get it twisted: the two are still viewed in positive light. Of course I do. I even mentioned it here. In fact, my international flatmates have told me theyβve heard of BBC for A*AA courses! You got it the wrong way round. For example, I think with the Warwick MMORSE course, natives have to get A*A*A plus a maths exam like the TMUA, while grade requirements for internationals was like AAC.
Did you remember hearing about this @imontheloose ?
Yes. Happens quite a lot. Granted you get a lot of people who really shouldnβt be at Oxbridge getting in and scraping a 2:1, I donβt blame them.I know some very elite boutiques and Mayfair Hedge funds ( the best of the best in finance), top Barrister Champers ect only almost still look at Oxbridge.
Only LSE is on a similar level for finance tbh.
Thatβs mad. How do they find the course ? Do they seem to struggle more ?Of course I do. I even mentioned it here. In fact, my international flatmates have told me theyβve heard of BBC for A*AA courses!
Go search Newcastle University and Manchester Universityβs schemes for DEI. You can literally get from AAA to BBB if you are mixed race, or any non-white heritage.
Totally absurd. I had to slave away for my grades at Oxford and my international flatmates were absolutely shocked that I got them grades. βWhy didnβt you go to the US?! Iβve never heard of anyone getting them grades!β
Ridiculous.
They find the course rather tough, but Iβve noticed that at the beginning they actually teach stuff you should already know if you got the grades to get in.Thatβs mad. How do they find the course ? Do they seem to struggle more ?
Very unfair what theyβve done to the native population here. Harder Uni entrance criteria, lots of internships/work experience placements blocked off for them ect.
Dnr
It does more acctuallyAcceptance rates in a third world shithole mean nothing. The people applying could have literal down syndrome for all we know.

Wait really? Like they dont hire white British students? Why is that? For white collar jobs immigrants are more expensive to hire because of VISA and HR compliance issuesThey find the course rather tough, but Iβve noticed that at the beginning they actually teach stuff you should already know if you got the grades to get in.
I canβt speak for every course, but in the general engineering science at Oxford (what you all start off with), they taught extremely basic mathematics and physics which you would know if you did well in physics and further maths.
Thereβs also internships which specifically say, βwe arenβt hiring white British students.β
I feel sorry for my family members who died at Dunkirk just for this to be their reward.
Yes. Rather common.Wait really? Like they dont hire white British students? Why is that? For white collar jobs immigrants are more expensive to hire because of VISA and HR compliance issues
But why?Yes. Rather common.
They accept way lower wages than us. My flatmates told me this first hand. Well, the one who could actually speak Englishβ¦ thatβs a story for another day anyway. But why?
Not to mention DEI is quite literally a necessity nowadays. But why?
Lower wages okay but they also need a VISA which is nightmare to work with for thr company's legal teamThey accept way lower wages than us. My flatmates told me this first hand. Well, the one who could actually speak Englishβ¦ thatβs a story for another day anyway.
