I can't just believe that there are so many bootlickers on internet willing to sacrifice hours and hours to the point of liking thousands of commentaries and posts about rulers and state institutions where they are potrayed as the "good" but in reality they are known to be unjust, like for example the Chinese Communist Party, this is just a big fish example, there are a lot of small fish too, this happens CONSTANTLY on YouTube, Quora, Reddit, long etc

I wanted to ask if there are reliable studies about this subject and if you could share them here, and wanted to ask too where i could start my research on this topic

Thanks

People just assume everyone with the right take on China is a bot. It's pure propaganda, westerners can dismiss anything by convincing themselves that the other side are all being paid off or using bots.

In fact it's the opposite, pure western projection. It's the western states that use media and bots and pay people to post propaganda. Classic example of accusing your enemy of what you are guilty of.

I'm not pro western, i believe the west and almost any country which is somehow developed technologically even in africa and the east has bots especially superpowers (USA, China and Russia)

But that is just an internet place who might be financed somehow by China (or maybe not, i don't know, thats why i want to start a research), that is the great problem with this kind of info

This is the problem with Westerners and their circular logic. First you hear lies about China and don't trust them, then you find sources that debunk that propaganda and then question the source because of the lies you believed before.

I remember that in Romania during the time of the 2014 Ukrainian revolution, there were all sorts of articles in online newspapers about the events happening there, but very few comments about this, no one in Romania gave a shit about what was happening there. Then suddenly, the articles had a huge increase in the number of views and were flooded with all sorts of pro-Russian comments condemning the revolution.
A week later Crimea was invaded, and since then the Russian bots have been very active on the Romanian Internet, spreading disinformation on all news sites in form of comments, on online forums, etc...
They can be identified by their use of a more archaic form of Romanian, with old and outdated words and expressions, that's still in use in Moldova, which was part of the Soviet Union and many of the people there still have Russian sympathies so they are willing to work for cheap in spreading Russian propaganda.
